Professor of Economics and Finance
Marshall is a Professor of Economics and Finance at the Swiss School of Management. A native of Miami, Florida, Marshall earned an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and has additionally taken extensive graduate coursework in counselling psychology at New York University. Marshall enjoyed a 12-year career in diverse business and finance sectors in the U.S. and Europe. He has worked on Wall Street in investment banking and risk arbitrage (trading) for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and BNP Paribas, respectively. He further worked in the areas of corporate management, marketing strategy, real estate and as a consultant for the UN World Food Programme (IPSAS global implementation). Marshall has also taught at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Fordham University, University of Connecticut, CEA, Luiss University, The American University of Rome, and in the China program since 2019. Marshall authored UN agency FAO Course guide: Fundamentals of International Business Management, Rome, 2006 and co-author of Leveraged Buyouts, Rome, Kappa, 2012. Marshall likes gardening. He takes a pillow for his back when he goes to restaurants. He likes to put the seat back on a plane flight even during meals. Too bad for the guy behind him. He paid for it. 😉
